Grey Bruce Public Health reminds those with private drinking water system to get water tested

Grey Bruce Public Health is reminding everyone that with spring here, they are encouraging all residents on private drinking water systems to get their water tested for bacterial contamination, free of charge.

Spring is the idea time to test since warmer weather can produce flooding and spring-melt conditions.

High groundwater and surface water can also contaminate private drinking water systems.

There is a list of water testing kit pick-up and drop off locations and more information at the Grey Bruce Public Health site.
