Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce are holding a Mental Health First Aid Training session for Mentors on May 8th and 9th in Owen Sound.
The free sessions cover such things as basic actions for mental first aid, info on effective interventions and treatments, how to get help locally and signs & symptoms of common mental health problems and how to provide help.
The sessions are at the Xchange Centre Downtown on Saturday and at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Sunday.
The day includes a catered lunch, coffee, or tea and manual and certificate.
