The United Way of Perth-Huron saw a donation of $800 recently from the Lions Club of Wingham.
The funds are in support of the Northern Huron Connection Centre and the recent Coldest Night of the Year event.
Both initiatives are helping the most vulnerable in the North Huron community on their journey towards a brighter future.
On hand for the presentation was Club President Murray Wales and member Ben Teichroeb who gave the cheque to Lisa Harper from the United Way.
