Huron OPP searching for Suspect after Assault & Attempted Car Theft in Clinton

Suspect entered home on Dinsley Terrace around 3pm yesterday, demand keys to vehicle, and assaulted victim when they refused. They remain at large.

Huron County OPP is investigating a break & enter in Centre Huron yesterday afternoon that resulted in a homeowner being assaulted.

Police used the K-9 unit to search for suspects after receiving a report of the incident on Dinsley Terrance in Clinton around 3pm.

The victim advised that a male had entered their home and demanded keys to their vehicle.

When they refused, they were assaulted.

The suspect fled and with an axe and handheld torch.

The suspect remains at large and is described as white, around 5 feet 9 inches tall, dark hair and slim build.

They were wearing blue jeans, black jacket with a John Deere logo on it and red baseball cap.

If anyone has any info on the incident or suspect they should contact the OPP or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
