The Huron Shores Hospice 7th Annual Hike for Hospice is set for this Saturday at 9:30 am at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
The event sees area teams go head-to-head to see who can raise the most money in support of end-of-life care in the 2-bed facility.
Jana-Leigh Ibbitson, Community Engagement Coordinator speaks to where the money goes from this and all of their fundraisers.
“All of the money raised at this event stays in the community 100% So it all goes toward the Hospice ensuring the residents and their families are taken care of at a very difficult time in ones life.”
Another upcoming fundraiser for the Huron Shores Hospice is the Rock’n’Roll for Hospice featuring Little Peter and the Elegants on Saturday, May 27th at the Davidson Centre. Tickets are $60 each.
