Local business owners Brad & Kristie Gilchrist, owners of Beefway on Highway 21 presented a cheque recently to the Local 4H Clubs and Kincardine Foodbank.
The money was proceeds from Beefway’s first Annual Charity BBQ on April 21st.
Each group received half of the nearly $2,700 raised.
Beefway also donated meat to the Food Bank for its clients, equivalent to the amount of the cash donated.
The cheque was received by Food Bank Co-Chairs Pat Stewart and Nancy Dawson.
