Virtual Meeting set for May 29th on Proposed Compressed Air Energy Storage Facility in Bluewater

The Municipality of Bluewater shared word of an upcoming virtual public meeting on Monday, May 29th to discuss the proposed compressed air energy storage facility by Bedrock Energy Corporation.

The event at 6:30 pm will allow the company to share information on the project, a formal presentation and give community a chance to ask questions.

The company is seeking a Council Support Resolution from the Munciipality.

The project would see 2 Porous Rock Reservoirs in the community as well as a Switchyard and Topside Facility.

The site would supply energy to Ontario’s power grid during off-peak hours. The meeting will be held via Zoom.
