There will be students heading to the streets of Clinton the first Wednesday in June with a Food Drive all in support of those facing food security in the community.

Central Huron Secondary will be sending Grade 12 students door-to-door on June 7th.

Students will be out from 9 to 11 am picking up non-perishable food items such as canned food, pasta, and more as well as feminine hygiene products.

The gesture follows a similar gesture last month that saw students at the school face the Huron OPP in some Ball Hockey Food Drive Fun at Eastlink Arena.

The school collected lots of items then as well that made their way to the local food bank.
