The Central Huron community is celebrating the news that Clinton’s very own Julia Chagnon has been named to the Dragon Boat Canada Junior National Team.

Alongside her teammates, Julia will be competing in Thailand this August.

Julia trains at the Lambton Shores Dragon Boat Club and she has trained for over 6 months in order to have a chance at making the team.

Her club is hosting a fundraising Golf Tournament on June 17th in Arkona with some proceeds in support of the athletes.
