The Listowel & Wingham Hospital Alliance announced as a result of health human resources shortages, the Wingham Emergency Room is set to temporarily close from 6am on Friday, June 2nd to 8 am the next morning on Saturday.
Patients in the area are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.
EMS Ambulances will be available to the community and will re-route them to the surrounding hospitals to ensure they have access to the emergency services they need.
