Grey Bruce Health Services has received the highest award on hospital accreditation from Accreditation Canada.
The Exemplary Standing comes as a result of surveyors dropping by all six of its hospital sites in April where it was reviewed and evaluated against safety and quality standards in Canada.
Their noted strengths included strengthened physician relationships, community partnerships positive functioning in the team as well as enhanced mental health services and more.
GBHS is now planning barbeques across the six locations to help celebrate the achievement in the coming weeks.
The barbeques will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm:
- June 9th in Southampton
- June 13th in Meaford
- June 14th in Owen Sound
- June 15th in Wiarton & Lion’s Head.
- June 16th in Markdale
