Effective immediately, a total fire ban is in place for all of Huron and Bruce COunty
Both Communities Fire Chiefs made the decision to declare the ban.
The total fire ban will strictly prohibit campfires and recreational fires, open air burning of any kind, fireworks displays and use of outdoor fire appliances such as fireplaces and wood burning stoves.
The ban is in place due to extreme dryness of all vegetation and poor quality in the area and will remain in effect until further notice.
