It’s another overnight closure at the Wingham & District Hospital emergency department.
Due to staffing shortages, the emergency department will close at 5pm on June 18th and reopen at 7am on June 19th.
Those needing medical attention should 911 with paramedics re-routing to the nearest open emergency department.
This marks multiple straight weekend interruptions at Wingham’s emergency department.
