A farmer in Huron County who in April lost 30,000 chicks has now reported another 15,000 chicks missing or stolen.
Huron County OPP say the farmer noticed the 2nd batch of chicks was missing on May 15th.
Back on April 20th, police say they were looking into the theft of 30,000 missing chicks following a break and enter at the farm with 15 day old chicks taken from their chicken barn on Line 17 in South Huron.
At the time the loss value was around $42,000.
With the recent loss of another 15,000 chicks the total has now jumped an additional $21,000.
