The Township of Huron-Kinloss is set to temporarily close its Huron Landfill in Ripley on Friday due to a staffing shortage.
The facility at 2087 Concession Road 6 East will reopen on Saturday, June 24th at 10 am.
It operates normally on Tuesdays, Friday and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm all year round.
There is also a Kinloss Landfill as well open on Saturdays from 10 am to 2pm at 690 Kairshea Avenue in Holyrood.
Yard waste depots are available just east of the Huron Landfill in Ripley and just south of the soccer fields in Lucknow.
