The Bluewater District School Board has appointed Wendy Louwerse as Supeintendent of Education effective September 1st.
She replaces retiring Superintendent Andrea Tang. Wendy grew up in Caledon but has spent over 34 years as a resident of Grey County.
She began her teaching career in 2002 at Osprey Central School.
Subsequent to that she has worked at the former Durham District & Spruce Ridge Community Schools, prior to assuming administrative positions at Arran-Tara Elementary and Chesley District Community Schools.
Wendy says she is passionate about providing the best learning experiences for her students and working together with staff to provide quality instruction.
