The County of Huron has approved an agreement that will see it’s Emergency Services department distribute naloxone kits in a bid at harm reduction in the area.
The move was approved and will see them work with Huron Perth Public Health to allow the County’s Paramedics to distribute the kits to those in the community who are vulnerable.
The naloxone kits are seen as a way for the community to prevent needless deaths and other impacts that the misuse of opioids cause in the community.
