The South Bruce Grey Health Centre extended the temporary closure of the Durham Emergency Department on Sunday to now extend to 7am Tuesday, July 4th at 7 am.
It had originally been set to see the department re-open Monday morning, July 3rd, at 7am.
If anyone requires urgent or emergency medical care, they can proceed to the nearest open ER or call 9-1-1.
Paramedics remain available to the community and will re-route to the nearest available emergency department.
The nearest are in Hanover, Mount Forest, Markdale, Walkerton and Owen Sound.
