Rotary Huron Shore Run sees Strong Participation & funds raised for Local Charities

There were around 800 people who took part with proceeds seeing donations of $50,000 to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Fondation, $2,500 to the area Rotary Clubs and more.

This years Annual Rotary Huron Shore Run saw strong support both in terms of participation and funds raises at its event back on June 3rd.

There were around 800 people who took part with an atmosphere at the event that organizers describe as electric, filled with determination, resilience, and an overwhelming sense of unity.

The event is seeing donations to area charities including:

  • $50,000 to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation
  • $2,500 to the Rotary Club of Port Elgin
  • $2,500 to the Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores
  • $2,500 to the Rotary Club of Southampton
  • $4,000 to the Saugeen Shores Lifesaving Club
  • $2,000 to the Saugeen Track and Field Club
