The Goderich Tourism Department shared word of the availability of the Marine Heritage Guide.
It explores the Port of Goderich waterfront and harbour and the rich marine history of the area that dates back before the first European settlers arrived in the late 1820’s, who founded the town in 1827.
It is an intriguing blend of maritime, social and manufacturing history that combines to create a unique heritage chronicle.
Tourists and residents alike can stop by the Tourism Centre at 91 Hamilton Street in Downtown to pick up their copy of the Marine Heritage Guide to begin exploring the history.
