A case involving historical sexual assault has seen an additional victim come forward.
On Tuesday, Huron County OPP received information regarding an allegation of sexual assault that is reported to have occurred in the early 1980’s.
The Huron County Major Crimes Unit investigated the matter and on June 30th, a 64-year-old Huron East male was arrested and charged with indecent assault on a female.
The accused has since been released from custody with an appearance at a Goderich court set for August 28th to answer to the charge.
