50K in 50 Days Campaign sits at Half Way to its $50,000 Goal in Mental Health Champion Campaign

Money is in support of a former public school being renovated by Grey Bruce Health Servicesin Owen Sound that will be used as a mental health & recovery centre.

There is a fundraising campaign underway that sees Co-Operators partnering with the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation to raise money in support of mental health care in the area.

The Co-Operators 50K in 50 Days Be a Mental Health Champion sees all donations up to a total of $50,000 matched.

Tracy Murray, Executive Director of the Foundation speaks to where the raised money will go.

“Grey Bruce Health Services is currently renovating a former public school in Owen Sound that will be used as a mental health & recovery centre which will serve residents right across Bruce & Grey County. It’s a much needed program & facility for mental health in our rural area.”

They sit just about halfway through the campaign and halfway towards their goal. The donation match ends August 7th.
