The OPP has laid charges after an investigation into the fatal collision that happened on March 25th in Meaford.
Police were called to the scene where it was found a 44-year-old pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and the involved vehicle had fled the scene.
As a result of the investigation, under the direction of the Criminal Investigation branch a 32-year-old male from West Grey has been charged with failure to stop at a accident causing death, dangerous operation causing death, operation while prohibited along with a charge of fraud.
They are set to appear before a court to answer to the charges.
