Huron-Kinloss set to celebrate National Lighthouse Day in Point Clark on Monday

The events from noon to 4 pm include a scavenger hunt, handing out cupcakes and introducing the new museum.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is set to celebrate National Lighthouse Day on Monday with a celebration at the Point Clark Lighthouse.

The event runs from noon until 4pm.

John Harper from the Point Clark Beach Association tells us what they have in store.

“They are having a scavenger hunt, they are handing out cupcakes and introducing the new museum. It is starting at noon.”

The Point Clark Beach Association is also holding an event at Blue Park in the area on Saturday.

The Family Bike Parade & Youth Day begins at 10am and includes decorated bicycles, costumes, as well as fun prizes and treats.
