Saugeen Shores Police Service are advising to Lock it or Lose It.
Police were out in the early hours yesterday and of the 53 vehicles observed to be parked on area roadways 10 were found to be unlocked.
They advise it takes professional car thieves 30 seconds or less to steal a vehicle.
Don’t make it easy for them.
Lock your car and pocket your keys.
Also make sure to take all personal items or valuables out of the car when you leave the vehicle.
