Three area Emergency Departments are set for more temporary closures due to staffing shortages.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has closed the Chesley ED from 5pm on Tuesday and it reopens at 7 am on Friday.
It then re-closes later that day at 5pm and doesn’t re-open until Tuesday, August 15th at 7am.
The Durham ED is closing overnight starting Friday through Monday beginning at 5pm and re-opening at 7am the next morning.
The Walkerton ED is closing overnight Friday as well at 5pm and re-opens on Saturday, August 12th at 7am.
Ambulance by-pass has been undertaken to divert patients to the nearest open Emergency Department.
