Huron County’s Immigration Partnership inviting newcomers to Camp Klahanie on Aug.19th

The County of Huron’s Immigration Partnership is inviting newcomers to Canada and their supporters to spend a day at Camp Klahanie next Saturday from 2 to 8 pm.

The free event on August 19th will offer a wide variety of games, activities, food and a chance to build new connections.

Some of the camp-themed activities include a scavenger hunt, nature hike, yoga, soccer, volleyball, cricket and more.

There will also be a free BBQ, evening bonfire and musical entertainment throughout the day.

The event is hosted by the Goderich Lions, the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario and the Huron County Local Immigration Partnership, with support from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
