The County of Huron issues a statement this afternoon on the news of the passing of Goderich Mayor Myles Murdock.
Myles in addition to his duties as head of Goderich Council also served on Huron County Council.
County Warden Glen McNeil said in the statement that he served the community with integrity and unfaltering commitment.
McNeil also announced that flag at the County Courthouse would be lowered to half-mast today in honour of Myles and everything he contributed to the community.
McNeil offered condolences on behalf of County Council and staff to the Murdock family, the town of Goderich and the entire community.
