Saugeen First Nation holding Pet First Aid Certification Course starting Sept. 7th

The session will prepare attendees for pet medical emergencies and include how to prevent them, how to manage them when they happen and how to perform CPR on your dogs and cats.

Saugeen First Nation is set to hold a Pet First Aid Certification Course over 3 weeks on Thursdays starting September 7th.

The session will prepare attendees for pet medical emergencies and include how to prevent them, how to manage them when they happen and how to perform CPR on your dogs and cats.

The sessions are from 4 to 7pm at the Mino Bimaadsawin Health Centre.

Once attendees have finished their course there is an open book multiple-choice exam.

They will then get a certificate, a first aid kit and first aid manual to keep.
