The Township of Huron-Kinloss announced the resignation of their Fire Chief Chris Cleave today.

The move is effective September 15th and the Township says Cleave has served the community with dedication & commitment for 8 years.

Under his leadership Fire & Emergency Services has achieved numerous milestones and has been a pivotal part in updating the standards for volunteer fire fighters & supporting their fire & emergency services.

They add his dedication to public safety & tireless efforts in leading the Department have been greatly appreciated.

The Township will begin the recruitment process for a new Fire Chief.

They add the department continues to be fully operational and committed to ensuring the safety of the community.
