The South Bruce Grey Health Centre announced a last minute closure of the Chesley Emergency Department that began at 7am this morning.
It is expected to end tomorrow morning at 7am. The closure is due to ongoing staffing shortages.
Ambulance by-pass will be undertaken during the closure to divert patients to the nearest open Emergency Department.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention is urged to call 911 or be taken to the nearest ED which includes Hanover, Walkerton and Southampton.
