Local area healthcare in 6 areas including Owen Sound, Markdale, Meaford, Southampton and Wiarton now has a new name.
Grey Bruce Health Services has rebranded to Brightshores Health System. In a short video shared by the organization, health system CEO Gary Sims says the new name is to reflect the evolution of the organization.
“We now need to rebrand so that people understand who we are, what we stand for and what we are doing. We are a changing organization who are focused on growth, development and services we have not had before.”
The changes that have occurred at Brightshore include a new hospital in Markdale, a new mental health facility in Owen Sound, a second MRI currently under construction, CTs to all the local sites as well as a cataract suite.
