Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Rick Byers presented several members of the Kincardine & District Lions Club with Ontario Volunteer Service Awards recently at a ceremony in Owen Sound.
The members recognized for their ongoing commitment to giving back to their community were Lions Sara Jones for 5 years, Linda Prenger for 15, Frank Bianco for 20 years, Jim Prenger for 35 and Lion George Ling with 45 years.
Unavailable to receive his award in person for 40 years was Lion John Kloosterboer.
