The Premier of Ontario Doug Ford and Ontario Health Minister Sylvia Jones, were in Markdale this morning to mark the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Markdale Hospital.
The two dignitaries were joined by Grey Highlands Mayor Paul McQueen, Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Rick Byers and Brightshores Health System President & CEO Gary Sims to mark the occasion.
The Municipality says that the hospital isn’t just a beautiful new building, but also a symbol of progress and innovation.
It is equipped with cutting-edge technology and modern facilities and represents a new era of healthcare in the area.
