The Huron & Area Search & Rescue saw a busy weekend for its members with 27 of them being requalified, as well as 8 new members joining the team.

HASAR was formed in 2018 as a professionally trained volunteer search & rescue organization and is a Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.

HASAR Team Leader Layne Lavis and Searcher Danielle Pentz spent the weekend assisting the Maitland Trail Association as well during their El Camino Hike.

Their members used the Argo Rescuer which was part of a great partnership with Country Corners Argo and Compass Minerals.
