The organizers of the Annual September Movember Golf Classic shared news of it raising just over $22,000 in support of men’s health in the community.
Todd Thompsons shared that they not only did they beat last year’s total but smashed it.
The event has been held since 2020 and overall has raised over $73,000.
Thompson says what’s more important is the awareness that has been created, and they hope to keep the train rolling.
He says to talk to you son’s about listening to their bodies and that its ok to speak up when something doesn’t feel right.
In terms of the success of the event held back on September 23rd at Ainsdale Golf Course he thanked volunteers, hole sponsors business and individuals.
He says they are all amazing.
