The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh reminds drivers of the increasing number of slow moving vehicles on area roads due to the fall harvest.
They suggest motorists take additional caution when approaching them and always put everyone’s safety first.
They also linked to tips from the Ontario Federation of Agriculture who suggest to make sure the farm machinery driver can see you before you attempt to pass, and to not expect them to pull over on the shoulder as it could be dangerous for a large piece of equipment.
