The Saugeen Shores Police Service are looking for nominations in their Community Cruiser Giveaway. Police have been given two brand new 26” Supercycle Classics Cruiser Bicycles to give away from Lynsie W. of the area.
They are looking for nominations of someone who is a resident of Saugeen Shores or Saugeen First Nation, are of good character that need a bicycle but who many not otherwise be able to afford one, and who have demonstrated compassion, community involvement or who have otherwise gone over and above for someone else or otherwise deserves one.
You just have to submit a letter in an envelope to the Saugeen Shores Police Station, to the attention of Constable Gordon by November 3rd.
The letters will be reviewed by the donor and a Police Service member and 2 nominees chosen.
Letters will not be published to keep their nominations private. Recipients to be announced in November.
