The OPP and Owen Sound Police continue to actively investigate the death of 44-year-old Sharifur Rahman of Owen Sound.
He died following an assault in the 900-block of 2nd Avenue East in Owen Sound on August 17th.
Both the OPP & Owen Sound Police have received many tips as investigators continue to work through the complex case.
Both have it as a priority and continue to dedicate signification resources to the investigation.
They both understand the significant impact to the small community with residents continuing to have concerns & questions about the tragedy.
They are both being assisted by the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, West Region Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services and Regional Support Team as well as the Chief Coroner of Ontario.
