Owen Sound Police were called to a home on the east side of the city early Sunday morning on reports of a vehicle colliding with a home.
They arrived around 1 am to find a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado embedded inside the front of the home.
It was evident the truck drove over the front lawn, onto the porch and crashed through the front wall of the home coming to rest in the living room.
The collision caused a significant amount of structural damage.
The homeowners were sleeping inside at the time of the crash but fortunately were not injured as a result of the incident.
Investigation revealed the driver was impaired at the time of the crash.
They were arrested and taken to the station for breath testing and were found over 2.5 times over the legal limit.
They are set to appear in court next month.
