Huron County’s emergency shelter for the winter has opened up for the year in Goderich.
This year the shelter is moving away from an overnight congregate model and more towards a motel model.
This will allow guests to have more privacy and 24 hour access to the shelter. In addition, the shelter will now extend an extra month running until April 30th.
Guests will continue to receive wrap around support including access to a drop in centre, hot meals, peer support and life skills development opportunities.
