The Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation has launched a fundraising fall raffle with tickets just $10 each.
There is $1,100 in prizes available to be won including 1st place of a flight by Papple Aviation from Goderich to Port Elgin, a 4-hour stop with a meal out and time to explore the beach and town.
It’s a 70 minute flight time and includes 3 passengers.
It has a value of $500. There is also gift certificates to 6 area restaurants and to get out in nature with Home on the Range in Londesborough.
Executive Director of the Foundation, Kimberly Payne speaks to how the raffles support local businesses as well.
“The Foundation never asks for the prizes to be donated, we always purchase them because we want to support small businesses. We might not make as much on our raffles as other organizations but we make sure we’re supporting the community at the same time’ said Payne.
Tickets are available from the AMGH Foundation office, online and on-site in November on Thursdays at Zehrs and Saturdays at Canadian Tire.
The draw date is Friday, December 8th at noon at the Foundation Office.
