The Bluewater Recycling Association is reminding residents just because a product might have a recycling symbol on it, it does not always mean its a recyclable product.
The BRA says the recycling symbol can mean two things, the first being a product or packing can be recycled though not always through the Bluebox program and that it can contain recycled material.
This is commonly seen in Amazon packaging used for shipping which is advertised as recyclable but is not accepted in the BRA Bluebox program.
