A pursuit by Huron County OPP has led to a London resident being hit with 17 charges after an incident last month.
Huron County OPP was made aware of a vehicle narrowly avoiding a cruiser in Grand Bend and instead of stopping, the driver fled the scene.
The pursuit continued all the way into Bayfield when the SUV driver hit a parked car.
The suspect tried to escape on foot but was tracked down by a K-9 Unit and Emergency Response Team members.
17 charges were given to the 26 year old including impaired operation, dangerous operation, flight from police and a variety of traffic violations over the course of the chase.
