With the help of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, $22,600 in funding has been provided to Saugeen Shores from the Rural Economic Development Program.

The funding will help facilitate economic development in the community and help integrate new businesses in the area and support existing enterprises via the Invest Saugeen Shores Business Support Centre.

Mayor Luke Charbonneau says the new centre makes it easier for local enterprises to access town staff when they are needed.

The new centre replaces the older Tourism Information Centre which has plans to open in early 2025.
