Huron County OPP have arrested a man involved with a robbery in Wingham last week.
On March 8th at around 6:10am OPP were called to a report of a robbery which had taken place on Josephine Street at 6am.
The man had entered the store, produced a note and demanded cash and he appeared to be carrying a concealed weapon.
The employee told the suspect there was no cash inside the store with the suspect then fleeing on foot. Investigators were able to identify the suspect and on March 11th was taken into custody.
The 36 year old from North Huron was charged with Robbery with Intent and seven counts of Failure to Comply with Probation.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
