Running off the success of the first year, the Bruce County Public Library is returning its Seed Library Program.
Starting April 2nd, Seed Libraries will be available in nine branches as well as the Bookmobile.
Seed Libraries are growing across Canada in promoting sustainable growing practices providing free seeds locally adapted to the region that are resilient to local weather, soil and pests.
There is no charge to get seeds only needing your Bruce County Library Card with donations also welcome.
Those new to gardening can also take advantage of the libraries array of gardening resources in their system.
