Bruce Power is pledging support towards rural healthcare in $300,000 in funding.
The funding will be shared with Kincardine and Saugeen Shores with $100,000 each over the next three years with $25,000 going annually in support of each hospitals ER support programs.
The rest of the funding will go for physician recruitment and retention and other initiatives.
James Scongack, Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President of Bruce Power says access to these services is crucial as the communities continue to grow and they are pleased to continue to partner with local municipalities in helping to keep emergency rooms open.
