Huron County OPP have provided some more information with the military coming to North Huron next month.
Police say they’ll be working alongside members of the Canadian Armed Forces during an exercise in the county from May 3rd-5th.
The exercise dubbed “Trillium Venture” the 31 Canadian Brigade Group will be conducting training in Huron and Bruce Counties to enhance interoperability with other governmental departments and work to respond to a simulated extreme heat scenario.
Measures will be taken to ensure minimum inconvenience to those in the area.
The public is asked to teak extra caution if approaching military vehicles and troops.
