The Kincardine Lions have celebrated 50 years as a club who raised a Lions flag and Canadian flag at Lions Park at the Davidson Centre.
Lions members and the public braved the weather on Friday for the raising ceremony.
The Kincardine & District Lions Club charter was granted by Lions Clubs International on April 12th, 1974 and in that time the Kincardine Lions have kicked a variety of projects to boost the local community.
An anniversary celebration is planned in June.
